Our "Operate a Roller" course is carefully designed to cater to both start-up and experienced operators, providing essential skills, required to operate a roller in their daily work settings. The course comprehensively covers various types of rollers, including vibratory rollers, pneumatic rollers, rubber-wheeled rollers, and smooth-wheeled vibratory rollers, ensuring a well-rounded skill set.

Throughout this course, learners will achieve the core objectives, enabling them to confidently demonstrate their knowledge of roller functions, adeptly plan work activities, and prepare the work area with precision. They will also gain proficiency in the correct startup and shutdown procedures for rollers, ensuring safety and efficiency in operation. Lastly, trainees will master the essential procedures for transporting the roller to and from the work site.

How much does a Road Roller license cost?

For new operators grader license and certificate costs are included in the Road Roller training price.

Renewing a Road Roller license costs between R800 and R1500. This depends on the expiry date and previous experience of the Road Roller operator
